Viola grew up in a very pro-pureblood household. She has a older Slytherin brother and a father high up in the Ministry ranks and a mother who constantly tries to prep her for marriage. She's always felt like an outcast, especially since she was bitten by a werewolf at the age of ten. She's never told anyone about this, but perhaps it's time...

Generally an open and friendly person, she seems shy because she constantly has to watch what she says to keep this big secret. She's also insanely focused on her studies because she wants to be a healer to find a cure.

So for Viola, I can offer Mr. Lucas Matthews here - he's an excellent secret keeper, quite trustworthy, and a friendly person to top it off... as well as being on the stubborn side. Scarlett Jane is the Headmaster's daughter. She's a little quirky but a good friend if they'd want to be friends.

Rio Nott is a Slytherin pureblood 7th year prefect who while being kind and having leadership qualities, is day to day, rather quiet herself and doesn't really know where she fits in post high school. She doesn't really believe in judging people on the superficial, rather what's inside. Actually I'm pretty sure these two could be great friends. They even might make good confidants.

Also Professor King would probably extend an invitation to slug club to Viola due to the fact she sees potential in her. So if she'd want to try such a thing, maybe reluctantly. Rio is a member. It's her only social group.
