Overall personality:
For those who met him through his brother, Raphael Roan, Crispin is a very merry boy. He loves being around people and creatures of all sorts, and doesn't judge people often. He was friends with many older students, being that his Brother was a Seeker and also an eighth year, though he was best friends with Raphael. Now at a loss with his brother gone, Crispin's innocent and gleeful aura has dimmed.
Crispin will often skip class, though not to be a bad student. He really wants to learn, but is terrified of walking the halls himself. Even if he risked being late, Raphael always guided him to class after a band of Slytherin stole and almost broke his wand not five weeks into his first year. Crispin doesn't like isolation or seclusion at all, but will always avoid any who seem menacing. Hs most recent companions include Thestrals- frightening at first, but truly kind creatures. Some call him delusional for speaking to things that are not there, but he knows they are real. He can be found out in the fields with Galleon, a young Thestral female whom he saved form a hunter's trap, during his class period for the dark arts. Crispin does not tolerate nor does he like the dark arts, and has no intentions of learning them(Though his professors may say otherwise.)

History: Crispin was the second child to Lillianne and Alastair Roan. His childhood was perfect, though it came with the few bumps and scrapes that any curious little boy was bound to receive. He grew a strong bond with his brother, Raphael, who was ten when he was born. Crispin loved to be around his older brother, though one day, everything changed. They came.
Alastair Roan was a graduate of Hogwarts, a Slytherin. He wanted nothing more than a normal life, and lived in the muggle world directly after leaving the academy. He married, loved, and had a family with Lillianne, the beautiful muggle he had met at the coffee shoppe one day. He lived his life telling himself that it was all a dream, and never dared to touch the wand under his bed. When they sought out Raphael, however, Alastair went mad. He let them take his oldest son, calling him a Mudblood, a dirty half-breed, and wanting nothing to do with him. Of course, Crispin, age eight, wasn't exempt from this. Lillianne soon divorced with Alastair, and fled with her son after winning a fight over custody.
Crispin fears the weekly visits he must endure every Sunday and Wednesday to his father's house, under negotiations. The only real times he looks forward to going someplace is on holidays, when he is able to see his brother, Raphael, in London. Christmas was always his favorite time of the year, for even though his father was invited to the family gathering, he could see his brother once more. Crispin loved hearing about everything Raphael told him- The funny talking hat, magic, dragons, wizards- it was all too good! He couldn't wait to join Raphael in Hogwarts, and learn beside his brother.
However, one holiday changed.
The roads were covered in ice. Raphael had gone drinking with a few of his friends, and though he had two bottles, claimed he could still drive. After all, his friends were all drunken messes. This was a mistake. He hit that sheet of Ice, and it was over. Crispin had been waiting on the doorstep for Raphael, like he always did, eager to tell him about his experience on the train ride back and all the new people he met during his first year. Raphael never showed up.
Now entering his second year, Crispin finds himself feeling lonely and longing companionship. The older students who knew him because of his brother were all graduated, leaving him behind. Crispin often seeks out his teachers or professors to find guidance, or even a bit of company to just have some tea with.
